As we always look to improve your experience at Motor City, we are excited to announce a refreshed online banking and mobile banking app interface. The refreshed look has the same great features you're used to in a familiar layout but with a new user interface, improving look and feel and better navigation.

Online banking update highlights:

  • Mobile responsive webpages so you can access our online banking from any device
  • Easily book appointments with your Financial Services Representative or Wealth Advisor right within online banking
  • Better look and feel for easier navigation of online banking

Navigation Tip: to quickly get back to the main landing page of online banking, you can now click the MCCCU logo in the top left corner of any webpage you are on in online banking.

Mobile App

Mobile app update highlights:

  • Improved performance and stability
  • Live chat can now be accessed directly from within the mobile app for quicker support (Tip: you can move the chat icon around if it gets in your way)
  • Android users can now take advantage of biometric login
  • New quick links to easily access services like e-statements in online banking and our partner logins webpage
  • Link and view your Motor City Credit Card under “Accounts” to see your balance and details (available shortly after the upgrade)
 

 

Will I lose my Remember Me/Memorized Logins, 2-Step Verification, Quickview (mobile app) or biometric login (mobile app) settings? 

All users' 2-Step verification and login credentials (PAN and password) will stay the same and will not be impacted by the update.

Most users using the Remember Me/Memorized Logins, Quickview (mobile app), and biometric login (mobile app) will continue to work without issue. However, these features are device-specific, so if they do reset or you are having trouble with them after the update, please delete/reset this on your computer and mobile app. Mobile app users experiencing prolonged issues with the update may find it best to delete and re-download the mobile app from the Apple App Store or Google Play.

 

Do I need to do anything to start using the new online banking experiences?

Online banking will automatically be updated around 1 pm on October 26; sign in as you usually do, and you are good to go!

 

How do I get the refreshed app?

If you already have the Motor City Mobile App installed, you will be prompted to update your app on and after our launch date. The new app is also available on Google Play and the App Store. Search for 'Motor City Community Credit Union.'

 

What's not changing?

Your login credentials (PAN and Password) are not changing. You can continue to log in using your existing credentials.

 

Fraud Reminder

Fraudsters are always looking for new ways to access your accounts and information. As always, be vigilant when someone who contacts you is requesting account information or login details. Motor City will never reach out to you asking for your online banking or mobile app credentials. If you are unsure, wait until you can get a hold of a Motor City representative to review the request or item before continuing.

Security is always top of mind for us, and we continue to make improvements around security with the updates we do and features like 2-Step Verification to help protect you as much as possible.

Mobile Wallet: We recently introduced payment options for your smartphone. Pay with your phone or smartwatch using Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Samsung Pay! It is easy to set up and is another convenient payment option. Learn more about each wallet by clicking here.

Virtual Assistant: Flex, our Virtual Assistant, was recently added to our support team via our online live chat. He can answer many general inquiries or help with issues you may have, things like guiding you on resetting your online banking password or showing you how to get your direct deposit information. He mainly helps after hours when our Member Assistance team is not available, so feel free to give him a try next time you have an inquiry! If he can’t get you an answer, he is always learning to try and tackle more inquiries; he will also collect your information for our Member Assistance team to jump in to help in these situations.

On our launch date, you'll notice a new look and feel of online banking. It has all the same features you're used to with our existing online banking. 

Or, if you use the mobile app, you will have to update your existing online banking app when prompted.

Your username and password will be the same as they are now. All you have to do is sign in.
